The company
The Eurocopter Group is a global helicopter manufacturing and support company formed in 1992 from the merger of German DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG (DASA) and the helicopter divisions of French Aérospatiale.
In 2001, Eurocopter’s worldwide and American market share were 40% and 30% respectively. On May 14, 2005, a Eurocopter Ecureuil production helicopter flew to the summit of Mount Everest and performed a hover landing, setting a world record for highest take-off.
As a consequence of the merger of the Eurocopter Group’s former parents, the firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS.
As of 2007, more than 9,800 Eurocopter helicopters were in service with over 2,500 customers in 140 countries.

Eurocopter AS 332 Super Puma

The Eurocopter Super Puma (originally built by Aérospatiale) is a helicopter marketed for civil and military use. It is an enlarged and re-engined version of the original Aérospatiale Puma and first flew on September 13 1978.
The type has proved immensely successful, chosen by 37 military forces around the world, and some 1,000 civil operators. The Super Puma has proved especially well-suited to the North Sea oil industry, where it is used to ferry personnel and equipment to and from oil platforms. In civilian configuration it can seat approximately 18 passengers and two crew.
A wide variety of specialised military variants are in use, including dedicated SAR and ASW versions. Since 1990, military Super Pumas have been marketed as the Cougar.
Eurocopter AS 350/AS 355/EC 130 Ecureuil

The AS 350 Écureuil (”Squirrel“) and AS 355 Écureuil 2 are a family of light helicopters originally manufactured by Aérospatiale (now part of Eurocopter Group). The AS 350 (marketed as the AStar in North America) is the single-engined version, while the AS 355 (TwinStar) uses two engines. The EC 130B is a recent adaptation of the AS 350 airframe.
Eurocopter AS 365/SA 365 Dauphin

The Eurocopter Dauphin (Dolphin) is a medium-weight multipurpose twin-engine helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter (originally by Aérospatiale).
Eurocopter AS 532 Cougar

The Eurocopter AS 532 Cougar is a twin-engined, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter. The AS 532 is a further development and upgrade of the Aérospatiale Puma in its militarized form. (Its civilian counterpart is the Eurocopter Super Puma.) The AS 532 has been further developed as the Eurocopter EC 725.
Eurocopter AS 550/AS 555 Fennec

The Fennec is a single-engined, light-weight, multipurpose helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter. Based on the Eurocopter Ecureuil series, it is named after the Fennec, a small fox found in the Sahara Desert of North Africa which has distinctive oversized ears. The armed version can be fitted with coaxial weapons, and a small number of rockets.
Eurocopter AS 565 Panther

The Eurocopter AS 565 Panther is the military version of the Eurocopter Dauphin medium-weight multipurpose twin-engine helicopter and is manufactured by Eurocopter (originally by Aérospatiale). The Panther is a militarized version of the AS 365N.
Eurocopter EC 120 Colibri

The Eurocopter EC 120 Colibri (Hummingbird) is a 5-seat, single-engine, single main rotor, light helicopter. Jointly designed and developed by Eurocopter, China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC), Harbin Aviation Industries (Group) Ltd (HAI) and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (STAero) at Eurocopter France’s Marignane facility, the EC 120 is assembled by Eurocopter in France and Australia.[1][2] In China, the aircraft is produced by Harbin as the HC120.
Eurocopter EC 135

The EC 135 is a twin-engine civil helicopter produced by Eurocopter, widely used amongst police and ambulance services, and for executive transport. It is capable of flight under instrument flight rules (IFR).
Eurocopter EC 145

The EC 145 is a twin-engine light utility helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter. Originally referred to as the BK 117-C2, the EC 145 is based upon the MBB BK 117-C1, which became a part of the Eurocopter lineup when Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm was purchased by Daimler-Benz. The EC 145 is a twin-engined aircraft and can carry up to 9 passengers along with 2 crew, depending on customer configuration. The helicopter is marketed for passenger transport, corporate transport, emergency medical service (EMS), search & rescue, parapublic and utility roles.
Eurocopter EC 155

The Eurocopter EC 155 is a long-range medium-lift passenger transport helicopter developed by Eurocopter from the Dauphin family for civil aviation use. It is a twin-engined aircraft and can carry up to 13 passengers along with 2 crew, depending on customer configuration. The helicopter is marketed for passenger transport, VIP corporate transport and casualty transport duties.
Eurocopter EC 225

The Eurocopter EC 225 Super Puma is a long-range passenger transport helicopter developed by Eurocopter as the next generation in the civilian Super Puma family. It is a twin-engined aircraft and can carry up to 24 passengers along with 2 crew and a cabin attendant, dependent on customer configuration. The helicopter is marketed for offshore support and VIP passenger transport duties, as well as public service missions.
Eurocopter EC 635

The Eurocopter EC 635 is a light multi-purpose helicopter developed by Eurocopter as a military version of the Eurocopter EC 135. It is a twin-engined aircraft and can carry up to 8 people, including the pilot, and a range of military equipment or armaments. The helicopter is marketed for troop transport, medical evacuation, cargo transport and armed combat support missions.
Eurocopter EC 665 Tiger

The Eurocopter Tiger is an attack helicopter manufactured by the Eurocopter Group. In Germany it is known as the Tiger; in France and Spain it is called the Tigre. It is also designated the EC 665 or PAH-2.
Eurocopter EC 725 Cougar

The Eurocopter EC 725 Cougar is a long-range tactical transport helicopter developed from the Super Puma/Cougar family for military use. It is a twin-engined aircraft and can carry up to 29 seated troops along with 2 crew, depending on customer configuration. The helicopter is marketed for troop transport, casualty evacuation and combat search & rescue duties and is similar to the civilian EC 225.
MBB Bo 105

The Bo 105 is a light, twin-engine, multi-purpose utility helicopter developed by Bölkow of Stuttgart, Germany. Production began under Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB), which became a part of Eurocopter in 1991. Eurocopter continued to produce the Bo 105 until 1997. It was replaced in the product line by the EC 135.
MBB/Kawasaki BK 117

The MBB/Kawasaki BK 117 is a twin-engined medium utility/transport helicopter. It was a joint development between Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm of Germany and Kawasaki of Japan. MBB was later purchased by Daimler-Benz and eventually became a part of Eurocopter. The BK 117 is popular for passenger and VIP-transport, seating from seven up to ten people. It is also used for aerial crane and sling work, law enforcement, military transport, and is exceptional as an air ambulance and search and rescue platform. The most modern version of this aircraft is the EC 145 originally known as the BK 117-C2, it combines the original BK 117 design with features from the EC 135.
NH90

The NHI NH90 is a medium sized, twin-engine, multi-role military helicopter manufactured by NHIndustries, a company established by Agusta, Eurocopter and Stork Fokker Aerospace. The NH90, which can be flown by a single pilot, is designed to operate by night and day and in poor weather. It has been ordered by several nations and is expected to enter service from 2007.
